Flora

As both trees and flowers make up a large portion of images that I create, these have become the primary categories for Flora, with the addded   catch-all for the remainder of the natural world images that do not fit into either these.

Like the presence of  'line' and 'mark' in charcoal drawing can create specific emphasis,  the patterns of and in plant life establish mood or provide direction.  What is magical is the seeming randomness and simultaneous order of of their occurance.

The eye is exposed to a banquet of  consumable shapes and textures that are made even more dramatic in monochrome prints.
