Trail : Salt River Canals

Trail Rating : Great trail.

Description : The trails are along the tops of the levy beside the canals that are on the northeastern border of Phoenix next to Scottsdale. I started west along the canals at Goldwater Blvd and 5th Ave. Out and back I did about 10 miles.

Footing : Great. Mostly packed dirt, with some gravel.

Terrain Profile : Flat

Water Availability : Carry it.

Access : Free public parking at 5th Ave.

Other Users : Walkers, bikers and some horses.
