Description : Used the Olverstead trail to get to WST at Point of Rocks and then ran backwards on WST to Browns Ravine.
Length : 9 miles roundtrip(
Footing : Typical WST trail, some rocky areas on the hills but mostly great footing.
Terrain Profile : The out portion of the trail is mostly downhill. Along the river there are some short climbs on the out side. Coming back you have two climbs to deal with. The first is up to the top of the quarry. It is about a mile, 1/4 mile of which is fairly steep, just before the top. The second is the short climb up from Hwy 49 to the field at Point of Rocks.
Water Availability : Carry it.
Access : Parking area at the fire station.
