Trail : Buffalo Park - Flagstaff

Trail Rating : Great trail.

Description : This is a two mile gravel loop in a park adjacent to the Coconino National Forest. The loop is varied and is great for laps. Distance is marked off every 1/4 mile, counterclockwise.

Length : Variable- multiple laps.

Footing : Great. Mostly packed dirt, with some gravel.

Terrain Profile : In the loop the profile changes. There is about 100-150 feet elevation difference over the course of the loop. Going counterclockwise, you do a gradual climb(1/4 mi) of about 50-75 feet, run flat for about 1/2 mile, up another 50 ft, (1/2 mile), down 50 feet (1/2 mile), and finally a steep drop of about 50 ft followed by a climb of 50 feet just before the end.

Water Availability : Carry it.

Access : Parking at entrance.
